Displaying differences in observed and modeled heads at Test Points (piezometers).
(Click on the image for full resolution)
Model calibration is facilitated by the display of Test Points of type "Piezometer". Upward pointing triangles indicate that the modeled head is too high. Likewise, downward pointing triangles indicate that modeled heads are too low. Optionally, the head differences can be displayed, as shown in the figure. Model calibration is also facilitated by an Implement Scenario option on the Model menu and model parameter optimization using PEST on the Tools menu. The Model menu also provides access to model Calibration Statistics (both numerically and graphically).
